How do I use the Drink Up keg ?

The cocktail keg can only be used with the Drink Up cocktail machine. With the Drink Up filler, you can serve all types of drinks, including those you make yourself (cocktails, mocktails or craft beers), in the empty 5 litre keg. The Drink Up machine uses the gas contained in the CO2 cartridges sold separately or in the Drink Up kit, so your drinks retain their flavour for several hours in the keg. It can be used by anyone, anywhere, at any time ! Enjoy a good time with friends over a cocktail, with or without alcohol : mojito, tequila sunrise, margarita, piña colada, gin and tonic, craft beer... With the Drink Up cocktail machine, give free rein to your imagination and impress your guests !

Advice on using the 5 litre cocktail keg :

Use the 5 litre keg to prepare and store your favourite drinks for up to 20 hours, without electricity !

When you want to use the keg, you can insert your cocktail ingredients directly inside. Before serving your cocktails, your keg should be placed in the fridge for between 5 and 10 hours (5 hours for a keg filled with already chilled drinks and up to 10 hours if the drinks are not chilled). If the drink is not cold enough, it may foam up quite strongly in the glasses when you fill them.

The keg can hold all types of carbonated or non-carbonated drinks, with or without alcohol. However, we do not recommend drinks with pulp, pieces of fruit, aromatic plants or seeds, which can block the internal duct of the kit.We do not recommend viscous liquids such as syrups, liqueurs or nectars. If your drink contains these types of ingredients, we recommend that you filter it before putting it in the keg. How do I clean the cocktail keg ?

The keg and stopper can be washed and reused for up to ten refills. Beyond that, your stopper may show signs of weakness or leakage and your keg, if poorly maintained, may be damaged.

To clean your keg and remove the part of the stopper that has fallen inside, we advise you to fill it with 5 to 10 cm of water and invert it downwards. As the water flows out, the part of the stopper that remains in the barrel can be easily removed and cleaned ! Watch a video tutorial explaining how to remove the stopper from the Drink Up cocktail keg !
