Kit Drink Up

How does the Drink Up kit work ?

The Drink Up kit uses 16 gram CO² cartridges to screw onto your Drink Up portable machine. The gas pushes the drink into the glass and preserves it for several days. The kit is easily attached to the top of the keg with a quarter-turn, and the gas is automatically released thanks to the twist lock.

Using the kit is relatively simple, as no adjustment is required, simply screw on a gas cartridge, hit the keg cap and perform the 1/4 turn with the dip tube, nothing else !

Instructions for use :

1.  To use the Drink Up keg, we recommend that you fill it yourself with the beverages of your choice (without pulp or too dense for the keg to work optimally). You don't have to fill the keg completely to use it, 2 litres of beverage is enough.

2.  Once the keg has been filled with your favourite drink, close it with the Drink Up stopper included in the kit and keep it in a cool place for as long as you like. To ensure the optimum temperature of your drink, keep it for 5 hours for a keg filled with drinks that are already chilled and up to 10 hours for drinks that are not chilled.

3.  When the keg is cool, simply use the service kit supplied with the machine and the Drink Up glasses to enjoy your drink ! To do this, screw on a gas cartridge, then hit the centre of the stopper with the dip tube and lock the device by turning it clockwise a quarter turn. Watch our instructional video !

Warning : after use, it's important to release the remaining gas pressure in the barrel and cartridge by pulling the decompression ring upwards. The keg and cap are washable and reusable, but we recommend that you use these products for ten or so fills, as the cap may then show signs of leaking and your keg may be damaged.

For good hygiene and better preservation of the Drink Up kit, we recommend that you read the care instructions for the kit and the kegs carefully. You can reuse the keg and cap for up to ten refills. The cartridges are disposable, so you need to use a new CO² cartridge each time you refill the drum.

Cleaning the Drink Up kit :

•  To clean your kit, run hot water through the kit's dip tube, which has been turned upwards. In this way, the hot water flows inside the tube to clean it and comes out through the grey glass filling nozzle.

•  Important : to allow water to emerge from the grey nozzle, you must engage the trigger.
